Bryan Barsness (Prophet North America) and Tom Vitale (Deodato Tony & Sons Ltd)
Over the past few weeks, Bryan had the privilege of attending two incredible produce expos โ each offering a unique lens into our ever-evolving industry.
๐ CPMA 2025 in Vancouver was a powerhouse of Canadian produce innovation and relationship building. As the largest fresh produce event in Canada, Bryan was thrilled to reconnect with long-time partners and explore exciting new opportunities nationwide. A special congratulations to CPMA on their 100-year anniversary โ what an incredible milestone!

Bryan reiterated that he was grateful for conversations that went beyond the showroom floor โ this dinner captured the spirit of collaboration that makes events like CPMA so impactful.
๐ฎ Then came Viva Fresh in Houston, where the Tex-Mex Corridor took center stage. This event sparked important conversations around industry challenges โ from regulations and trade to volatility and tariffs โ and how we can overcome them through tech, transparency, and strong partnerships to ensure year-round, sustainable production of our food supply.

โAttending both CPMA and Viva Fresh reminded me how vital our global connections are. Whether itโs the heart of Canada or the soul of Texas, our shared mission is clear: to keep fresh produce moving forward โ smarter, faster, fresher in an efficient and sustainable way.โ โ Bryan Barsness
A huge thanks to everyone who made both events so memorable. Bryan was proud to represent Prophet North America โ and now heโs gearing up to try his hand at pickleball for the first time at the West Coast Produce Expo in Palm Springs.
