Prophet UK welcomes David Willett onto their team as a Software Developer

After completing his PhD in Physics at the University of Manchester and particularly enjoying the numerical modelling aspects of his studies, David realized that he had a passion for software development. He went on to work as a C++ Developer in the areas of logistics and medical applications in Germany, before taking an extended career break for family reasons during which he worked part-time as a technical translator.

David's start at Prophet marks his return to the craft he loves. He is very much looking forward to re-honing his software development skills as part of an expert team and is keen to leverage his proven analytical and communication skills to make a positive contribution to the ongoing development of the Prophet software. He is also excited at the prospect of playing a key role in helping the fresh produce industry to become ever more efficient and profitable.

Alongside his enthusiasm for learning new technologies, David has a strong interest in linguistics and is also involved in local politics.
