Senior System Specialist

With deep roots in agriculture, Kevin has been an industry leader for the last 15 years, serving as a Product Manager and Operations Manager in fresh produce and horticulture.  Having had the pleasure of working with and learning from some of the most recognizable and respected companies in their fields, such as Sunkist Growers, Monrovia Growers, and Star Roses.

A self-described “eternal student”, Kevin’s insatiable appetite for knowledge began with obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from California Lutheran University and later on, a Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance from California State University, Fresno.

Kevin’s ability to apply this hard-earned industry experience and knowledge allows him to understand, relate and help solve the challenges faced in agriculture and technology. Kevin’s unique background is further enhanced by his six years of service as a board member of the Tulare County Farm Bureau, as well as being a graduate of Leadership Farm Bureau and PMA’s Emerging Leaders program.

At Sunkist Growers, Kevin spent 7 years working on the Lemon and Orange Varietal Desks where he acted as a liaison between all related areas of the supply chain. Including sales, procurement, manufacturing, and shipping. Kevin also developed pricing strategies, directed order distribution, inventories, and various import programs including grower settlements.  While at Sunkist, Kevin also played a vital role in the successful implementation of Prophet Pr3.

With his success at Sunkist, Kevin had been integrally involved as a client and stakeholder, on four different system implementations. With this level of detailed exposure to various systems, Kevin was assured of the positive impact that an effective ERP system can have on an organization. To pursue this passion of helping to better organizations through technology, Kevin joined Aptean, as a Senior Functional Consultant. At his time with Aptean, who own and operate Produce Pro and Linkfresh, Kevin served as a Team Lead for the Food & Beverage division where Kevin led the first two North American implementations of Aptean’s new ERP solution.

Outside of the office, you will probably find Kevin entrenched in his other passions which include aviation, fishing, cooking and wine collecting.  It is not uncommon to find him entertaining friends and family with a four to six course meal accompanied by a delectable vino.
