Rikus van Zyl

Software Design Manager

Rikus van Zyl hails from Paarl in South Africa. In 2005 he received a diploma in IT Engineering at CTI and the following year he was appointed as a junior network administrator at Boland Printers, Wellington. His job involved all IT maintenance and installations on the network. He also learned more about the printing industry and completed a printing estimator course. When no further IT-related work was needed at Boland Printers, he assisted by liaising with clients and drawing up quotations.

Rikus was appointed product support specialist for Prophet QX in September 2007 and in June 2009 he was promoted to account manager.
