Account Manager
Implementing Prophet software solutions successfully at client locations within South Africa and potentially other geographical regions as required.
Areas of responsibility:
Must be able to understand clients’ business operations and how they can best use Prophet software.
Interpret client needs, plus configure and implement the software solutions to an agreed pre-defined blueprint.
Work to specific project plans and deadlines.
Liaise with the software development team to progress with customer-specific modifications.
Deliver end-user training and train the trainer.
Complete comprehensive documentation to a high standard, including configuration specifications, customer-specific process guides and training documentation.
Desired Skills & Experiences:
Technical
Experience of software implementation & training delivery.
Good Microsoft office skills (Word, Excel, Visio).
Working knowledge of Prophet systems especially QX.
Knowledge of the perishable food supply chain.
Personal
A clear communicator at all levels for presentations and training to clients.
Possess a flexible ‘can-do’ approach to work.
Must be able to travel and work away from home, including at short notice.
Comfortable working on own initiative and in unfamiliar environments.
Resilient and flexible.
Good planning and organising skills.
Having and maintaining a clean driver’s license.
